Capital Letters
English uses capital letters for these things:
-the first letter of any sentence
-names of pets or some breeds of animals
-the pronoun "I"
-names of holidays, days of the week and months
-names of countries, languages, and nationalities
-names of cities, provinces, regions, states, and all adjectives related to them
-Compass directions (north,south,east,west) IF they represent a region NOT for directions
-the names of oceans, lakes and rivers
-the names of eras or events in history
-street and business names
-the names of parks, gardens
-book, film, play, opera, newspaper, magazine, and song titles
