This entire room was made from a refridgerator box, and some paint. The only tools used were a matte knife and paintbrush. The cardboard box and its packing strips were obtained from Brandsmart, tied onto the family car and driven home. Once home the box was cut open and the bottom and top removed. When unfolded the box now formed a three sided "room." The inside of the box was painted white and allowed to dry. The packing strips were painted brown and when dry were glued to the inside of the box to form the wooden "beams" shown in the above picture. The shelf shown is nothig more than one of the packing strips glued to the sides and back of the box. By gluing the "beams" to the box a three dimentional appearance was achieved. The bottom and top of the box were taped together to create a kind of lid, which was placed on top ofthe box to form a "roof". The entire project was very cheaply made with the most significant ingredients being imagination and hard work.
