This very simple house is made entirely from paper bags gathered from Winn Dixie. The student first gathered 1x2" firring strips and hand cut them to the lenghts to make the internal frame. the strips were drilled in each corner and then the frame was tied together with wire. While this created a shakey structure the student added several cross barces to give it stability. The paper bags were then cut apart the bottoms removed and the sides of the bags flattened. These bags were then taped together using 2" wide clear tape. The random stone shapes were then painted on the surface of the bags. Whenthe paint dried the paper was stapeled onto the wooden frame. Finally the windows and door were cut out. Freshcut palms were laid on the top to form a roof.

Note: The student completely made and assembled the project at home. Took the entire project apart for transportation to school and then reassembled it in the CAVE. This student received no outside help from anyone. The project is her idea and work.
