TO THE STUDENT:

Those individuals intending to take AP World History at Fort Lauderdale High School during the school year 2005-6 should obtain and read the book indicated below before classes begin in August. There will be a reading test on the first day of class.

This text is available at any Barnes and Noble or Borders bookstore in the Fort Lauderdale area. You may also obtain one at your local library. When you are finished reading the book you should know the difference between Leavers and Takers and be able to answer (using examples from your reading) the question Ishmael presents to his student.
