INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE WORLD HISTORY
TECHNOLOGY PROJECT
This assignment is designed to have you explore how events in World History have been impacted by the development of technology.
Each student will be required to choose "1" technological advance from the list below. Each student will clearly print their name on the blank next to the technological advance on the sign up sheet which is posted in the classroom. Only one person to each technological advance, first come, first served.

Assignment Instructions
This Assignment comes in four parts.
Part 1
The assignment will have an MLA style title page with the name of the advancement typed and centered (left-right, top-bottom). The student's full name, class title and due date will be located in the lower right hand corner, single spaced and allowing for a one inch margin on all sides
Part 2
The body of the paper (which is not to exceed 2 double spaced typed pages (using a standard font of 10-12 points and having a 1 inch margin on all 4 sides) will have the following information.

NOTE TO STUDENTS:
THE FOUR IDENTIFICATION ITEMS ABOVE ARE TO BE SINGLE SPACED AND LOCATED ON THE LEFT HAND MARGIN. BE CERTAIN TO TYPE THE QUESTIONS IN CAPITAL LETTERS AND YOUR ANSWER IN LOWER CASE--PARAGRAPH FORMAT. EACH ANSWER TO THE LAST FIVE QUESTIONS MUST BE FULL AND COMPLETE. THE QUALITY OF YOUR ANSWER WILL DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF POINTS YOU EARN.
You must write in the third person. Use of first or second person will result in the loss of one (1) letter grade for each occurance. Each spelling error will result in the loss of one letter grade.
Part 3
Part three will be a picture of the invention in its original form. The picture may be printed on or attached with clear tape in a neat fashion to the page immediately following the body of the paper.
Part 4
Each paper will be accompanied by a MLA style Works Cited page. This page must have a minimum of 5 entries which will include either 3 printed works and 2 internet sources or 3 internet sources and 2 printed works. The Works Cited page will be the last page of this report.
