On the day of the Faire the students transform the CAVE into a Renaissance village. It is the task of each individual student to create a "facade" which demonstrates their trade, craft or position in the village. Each student is responsible for bringing in, setting up and eventually removing their setting. The facade of each must meet the following requirements:
1. It must be at least 5.5 feet tall.
2. It must be 5 to 6 feet in width.
3. It must be no more than 3 feet deep.
4. It must be free standing.
5. It must look like a renaissance structure (both in form and color)
6. It must be entirely built off campus. Students may assemble the setting in the CAVE and may make such repairs as are necessary from travel damage and / or covering edges exposed in assembling the structure.
The following construction tips are intended as a guide and are not intended to be inclusive. Students may construct their project from any suitable materials. The focus is not on how much money can be spent, but rather on how creative and innovative the student can be. The best advice to the student would be to pay attention to details.
